Bite Registration Wax

Green Tracing Sticks

Description: Green tracing sticks is a thermoplastic material supplied in the form of sticks (type-1 low fusing impression compound). It is a low fusing material primarily used for border extensions on custom impression trays as it attains uniform plasticity. Attains high viscosity at comfortable temperatures 55-65°C making it ideal for recording the full depth of the sulcus, recording of the borders during impression making for preparation of removable dental prosthesis, taking functional and relining impressions. Provides wide working area due to extra working time & quick hardening property when immersed in cold water

Properties & Advantages:

  • It is a type 2 low-fusing wax used for indirect wax technique. It is made of low-molecularweight ester of fatty acids derived from natural or synthetic components, such as petroleum derivatives, that soften at a relatively low temperature (45-55°C).
  • The wax does not fragment into flakes when molded after softening, and provides a framework for registering of jaw relations and arrangement of the prosthetic teeth
  • The wax attains a plastic state at room temperature, hence during the trials the teeth do not get displaced from their defined layout as per the patient’s Jaw model under the Ideal working pressure of try in models.
  • The wax melts out during the process of burnout/ dewaxing to create the mold space into which the acrylic is filled for making the final denture prosthesis

Casting Wax Sheets

Description: Dental casting waxes are primarily used in the wax-up technique; this can include
sculpturing, build up and inlay work.

Thickness: 0.3 to 0.6 mm

Size: 160mm x 90 mm

Colour: ‘Maarc’ Casting Wax sheets are thin wax sheets. Available in Green / Blue color for cobalt chrome cast partial dentures.

Packing: Available in 200 g pack. The Sheets are wrapped in non-adhesive Silicone Paper to facilitate easy removal.

Reinforcement Mesh

Description: The brittle nature of acrylic denture base material makes the dentures vulnerable for breakages and midline fracture. MAARC reinforcement mesh golden coloured or plain Stainless Steel, are made using 316 grade stainless steel. The thickness of the reinforcement mesh is less than 0.25mm, the close perforations in the mesh aid in acrylic homogeneity and easy daptability. Making the denture virtually unbreakable when the reinforcement mesh is sandwiched between layers of acrylic, during processing the dentures.

Re-inforcement Mesh is made from 316 grade stainless steel plated with gold or plain polished.

Hemostaz Solution / Gel
